I am an independent Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and received my Master's of Science in Nursing at Case Western Reserve University and residency training at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Since arriving to the Kansas City area in 2000, I’ve had the blessed opportunity and honor to assist over 500 births at home, birth centers, or hospitals.
In the State's of Kansas and Missouri, I am an independent nurse midwife with my own practice. I do individual one on one prenatal care in your home during your pregnancy. YOU have the option for lab work / ultrasounds / how often we visit and doing urine dips. I believe pregnancy is a normal occurrence of life and not a medical illness. However, I do have a Lab One account, ultrasound account and have DEA Prescription Authority to write for any medications as necessary that work with your insurances.
